Ella Update

Its been a while since I updated E's progress with the therapy we are doing. Her left hand and arm continue to develop and become more 'useful' to her. I catch her playing hand games as she sings songs (usually ones she is making up). She is constantly reaching for and holding things with her left hand. The tightness in her feet and ankles has loosened significantly during therapy sessions, but that hasn't translated much to playtime or walking yet.
There have been major milestones in her confidence/balance. She now climbs all over things. We were in sears recently and she climbed up on a large riding mower so she could 'drive' it. She climbs on the playground equipment at daycare and, for the first time this week, slid down the big slide. I guess the most major of those recent milestones came yesterday when she rode a tricycle all by herself. It was on the daycare playground and the other kids cheered when she started pedaling around. Her teacher cried.
As is obvious, God has been abundant, overflowing His grace into our lives.
The picture is her sitting at the football game, entertaining herself, in her own little world.
